FR: Yeah it's been really good, everyone's been so welcome and you're made to feel relaxed the moment you get here.

What's your favourite part about the student life?
FR: I love the social life, just interacting with people. Don't get me wrong I love my course (History and International Politics) and all the work that comes with it but having that certain amount of freedom that you don't get at home is really rewarding sometimes.
How have you found adapting to life after home without parents etc?
FR: Yeah I've fitted in really well here. Made so many knew friends and I'm just enjoying it. Obviously there are times when you miss your parents cause that's all you've known for what 19 years but like I said experiencing that bit of freedom is something I feel accustomed to now.
How are you finding it financially?
FR: Good question. It's difficult at times cause you don't have your parents to back you up all the time but, I do get my grant and maintenance loan which has helped me out endlessly.
Lastly, are you looking forward to next year?
FR: Yes, I can't wait. That's providing I pass my course this year! But obviously year two and three count more towards your grade so I look forward to getting my teeth stuck into something and knuckling down.
Thanks Fabian.
