A PARROT found itself trapped yesterday after flying into student accommodation Pin Hill causing the students to bring out the David Attenboroughs inside them.
Tommy Borthwick was startled when he found the parrot uninjured by his apartment. It was said to be 'moving quite well and had nothing visibly wrong with it'.
The kind hearted student then proceeded to picking it up to which it did so quite willingly. The RSPCA were called almost immediately who asked the student if he would be able to keep the bird over night until someone could come out to them.
A box was prepped as a bed for the tame bird and the students revelled in their find.
Mr Borthwick said: "It's not everyday you find a parrot by your house is it, so I did what anyone else would of done and looked after it until the professionals could take it.
"Everyone loved having Mr Parrot around and it seemed to boost the morales of others who are all revising hard for their exams."
The bird was collected by the RSPCA the following day and will be well and truely missed by all who met it.
