Festival fever is sweeping the county once again as Kent gears itself for another summer of live music.
Festivals it seems are becoming more and more important to the youth of today on their summer list of things they must do. It's becoming increasingly hard to avoid such events and Kent being no exception.
Boasting more festivals than most, it seems this year Kent is the place to be and with the increase in the hot weather who can argue. Whether its a farm, a park, a hill or even a zoo no open area is safe from this ever increasing phenomenon.
Lounge on the Farm is happy once again to invite festival goers back for another year of international acts and local bands. The farm has managed to entice huge acts ranging from local girl Ellie Goulding to The Streets and Tonbridge Wells' own Tim Williams and the Boat will be performing.
Other festivals in Kent include Hevy, Port Lympne and Hop Farm where you can witness the delightful sounds of Mystery Jets and Zane Lowe or for more hardcore listeners there's Dillinger Escape Plan and Funeral For a Friend.
The one that seems to be catching everyones eyes is that of Hop Farm Music Festival where they've managed to bag themselves some huge names including that of the immortal genius Prince.
Adam Brown, 22, Canterbury said: "I've got tickets for Hop Farm and can't wait.
"My mum and Dad have brought me up on this kinda music so for me to be going to see the likes of Prince live is awesome."
